Tom Nikosey
Designer / Illustrator

Born & raised in Brooklyn, New York, Tom set out for Los Angeles
shortly after graduating with a BFA in Communication Design
from Pratt Institute. His love for music and art brought him to the
center of the entertainment industry where Album Covers were an
immediate attraction. More than 3 decades later he’s still hard at
work creating brand identities, logos, posters and the newly added
font designs. Tom established CozyFonts Foundry in 2011.

A recipient of many design & illustration awards that span his
entire career, Tom forever feels grateful when commissioned to
solve a design problem. His ‘Holiday Deer 33¢ Stamp’ in 1999
has been deemed one of the most popular & highest selling
stamps in the United States Postal Service’s history.

Tom’s 2 early promo books are part of the Permanent Collection
of the Library of Congress. His original letterforms are engraved
in the 1984 Olympic Torch.
With 4 Super Bowl logos, 3 Grammy logos, countless trademarks
and hundreds of highly recognizable images to his credit,
Tom always welcomes the challenge of a new project.

He lives and works in Bell Canyon, California where he shares
a studio with his wife, designer / artist Kristen Nikosey.
